Oracle has announced the addition of newer features to its enterprise-grade Oracle Blockchain Platform, which is aimed at easing the integration of existing business and IT systems. With additional features, the company intends to speed up the process of development and deployment of blockchain applications. The company has stated that the added features will include an improved world state database, a transaction history database, identity management and support for Hyperledger Fabric version 1.3.
Hyperledger has announced that 16 new members have joined its Blockchain Consortium. Deutsche Telekom, a telecommunication provider in Europe; Alibaba Cloud, a subsidiary of Alibaba; and the ventures arm of Citigroup are some of the names among the newest members.
