ODEM and GE GeniusLink have declared a strategic partnership to develop a blockchain-based education validation platform. The motive is to focus on providing better-suited candidates to employers after proper authentication of their abilities.
Per agreement, ODEM will provide blockchain-based tools and technology to GE GeniusLink for a Ethereum Blockchain platform where the certificates of freelancers can be authenticated. It will help in ensuring that the short-term hires are truly skilled and qualified. The platform is expected to improve the organization’s operations and provide a common platform to students on which they can interact with academicians, career advisors, and prospective employers.
Richard Maaghul, ODEM’s CEO, has emphasized on the potentials of blockchain technology in creating secure and efficient business processes. He has stated that the solution will be introduced in the first quarter of 2019.
