Ernst & Young (EY), the Big Four auditor, has decided to hire 2000 employees to explore blockchain technology in India. This will help the company to expand its digital solutions including blockchain technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and tax technologies.
Ram Sarvepalli, the leader of advisory services at EY, has said that the firm is planning to explore blockchain technology opportunities in India. The company is going to offer blockchain services in India to promote the automation and digitalization trend across all sectors.
Previously, EY has introduced sector-specific auditing tools such as EY Blockchain Analyzer, an in-house block explorer. The firm has also been involved in research on cryptocurrency-related models and blockchain platforms.
