Genesis Hack, a blockchain hackathon that aims to promote blockchain technology in India, has collaborated with Marlin Protocol, a blockchain-based network, to develop a blockchain talent pool in India. As per the agreement, both the entities will work together to provide blockchain training to developers in India. The Marlin Protocol team will also provide knowledge support to developers at Genesis Hack.
The Department of Information Technology has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intel Corporation, Eleven01, and US-based financial software company Intuit to promote the adoption of blockchain technology in Goa. As per the MoU, Intel and Eleven01 will build a team in Goa to work on the project. And, Intuit will support the Goan startups by offering them free financial accounting system.
The Italian Government has announced the formation of a 30 high-level blockchain experts team for promoting the adoption of blockchain at the state level. The group is intended to work on advising authorities about developing a national strategy on distributed register and blockchain technology. The Italian Ministry of Economic Development is responsible for summoning the project.
The European Parliament has announced a provisional resolution aimed at increasing the adoption of blockchain technology in trade and administration. Termed as ‘Blockchain: a forward-looking trade policy’, the resolution describes blockchain technology as a private and permissioned distributed ledger technology that has the potential to benefit various case studies and industries.
